The OAIC is a mission focused, proactive, competent and accountable organization that is responsible for mobilizing and providing support to member churches in order to achieve its vision.

OAIC's Office of the General Secratary is charged with the duty to respond to challenges Africa's people face. It works to promote social justice and seeks to support AICs as they address injustices in their communities. OAIC's international headquarters is located in Nairobi, Kenya.
